Ingredients
 

  • 6 tbsp Butter 4.23 oz (120 g)
  • 3/4 cup of Sugar 3.53 oz (135 g)
  • 3 units of Egg
  • 3 tbsp Milk 1.52 fl oz (45 mL)
  • 1 cup of All-purpose Flour 4.23 oz (120 g)
  • 3 tbsp of Cocoa Powder 1.06 oz (30 g)
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder 0.18 oz (5 g)

Instructions
 

  • Beat the butter at room temperature in a mixer for 1-2 minutes until it turns white
  • Then add the sifted sugar and beat for 2 minutes more
  • Start adding the eggs one by one, and then, add the milk
  • Turn off the mixer
  • Then sift the flour, cocoa, and baking powder and mix with a spatula
  • Distribute into 2 disposable pound cake pans or in a single one.
  • Bake in a preheated 392°F (200ºC) oven for about 35 minutes
  • This will yield 2 cakes, each weighing about 8.82 oz (280 g), and each cake yields 6 slices
