Ingredients
CREAM
- 13.76 oz of Condensed milk (390 g)
- 1/4 cup of Cornstarch 1.3 oz (37 g)
- 2 cups of Milk 16.2 fl oz (480 mL)
- 7.05 oz of White chocolate chopped (200 g)
- 7.05 oz of Heavy cream (200 g)
ASSEMBLY
- 7.94 oz of Ladyfinger cookies (225 g)
- Maraschino cherry syrup, to taste
- 3.53 oz of Maraschino cherries, chopped (100 g)
DECORATION
- 5.29 oz of Milk chocolate curls (150 g)
- Maraschino cherries whole, to taste
- Powdered sugar, to taste
Instructions
CREAM
- In a saucepan off the heat, combine condensed milk and cornstarch and mix well
- Add milk and stir a bit more
- Bring to medium heat, stirring constantly
- When it boils, let it cook for another 2 minutes
- Turn off the heat and add the chopped white chocolate, stirring until completely melted. Add the heavy cream and stir a bit more
ASSEMBLY
- Take an oval glass baking dish, 8.27 inches x 11.81 inches (21cm x 30 cm), and spread a thin layer of cream on the bottom
- Then, a layer of ladyfinger cookies
- Moisten with maraschino cherry syrup
- More cream
- More cookies
- Moisten with the syrup
- Now a layer of chopped maraschino cherries
