How to Make Homemade Granola

BASE
- 2.5 cups of Rolled Oats 7.05 oz (200 g)
- 1 cup of Nuts of your choice 3.53 oz (100 g)
- 2 tbsp of Coconut Sugar 1.06 oz (30 g)
- 1 and 1/2 cup of Ground Cinnamon
LIQUIDS
- 4 tbsp Chia Seeds 1.41 oz (40 g)
- 1/3 cup of Water 2.7 fl oz (80 mL)
- 1/4 cup of Coconut Oil 1.76 fl oz of (60 mL)
- 1/3 cup of Honey 3.53 oz (100 g)
FINISHING
- 1 cup of Raisins 4.58 oz (130 g)
- 1.76 oz of Dried Coconut Flakes (50 g)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix all the base ingredients
- In another bowl, add chia seeds and water and let it hydrate for 5 minutes
- Add coconut oil and honey, and mix
- Add the dry mixture and stir well
- Pour into a 7.87 inch x 11.81 inch (20cmx30cm) baking dish greased with coconut oil and press lightly
- Bake in a preheated 392°F ( 200ºC ) oven for 20 minutes. After this time, open the oven and stir well. Continue for 20-30 minutes more, stirring every 10 minutes
- Remove from the oven and add raisins and dried coconut flakes, stir and press
- Leave to cool in the baking dish, this way it will become crunchy
- Yields about 22.57 oz (640g), but may vary depending on baking time)

– Shelf Life: It can be kept at room temperature, in a tightly closed container in a dry and airy place for up to 90 days.
