How to make Heart of Palm Pie with Yogurt Dough
You can buy this pie at the store, but today I'll teach you how to make it at home with plenty of filling. Let's learn it!

Ingredients
FILLING
- 10.5 oz Chopped Heart of Palm (300g)
- 1 Tomato deseeded and chopped
- 3.5 oz Sliced Green Olives (100g)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 5 tbsp Creamy Cheese Spread 5.3 oz (150g)
DOUGH AND DECORATION
- 3 units Eggs
- 6 oz Natural Yogurt (170g)
- 1/4 cup Oil 2 fl oz (60 mL)
- 1 tsp Salt 0.18 oz (5g)
- Black pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour 3 oz (90g)
- 2 tsp Baking Powder 0.35 oz (10g)
- 1 oz Grated Parmesan Cheese (30g)
Instructions
FILLING
- In a bowl, combine the heart of palm, tomato, and olives. Season with a little salt and black pepper, then mix.
- Add the creamy cheese spread and mix again. Set aside.
DOUGH AND DECORATION
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, yogurt, oil, salt, and black pepper for 1 minute.
- Add the flour and baking powder, and mix again.
- Take a greased and floured baking dish (I used a 10-inch round dish) and spread 2/3 of the dough on the bottom.
- Add all of the filling.
- Pour the remaining dough on top and finish with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for about 40 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow it to cool slightly before cutting and serving.
Notes
Valid to: 5 days under refrigeration.
If you want to freeze it, you can store it for up to 90 days in the freezer.
