How to Make Dulce de Leche French Toast

Ingredients
FRENCH TOAST
- 10 slices of Sandwich Bread without crust
- 7 oz of Dulce de Leche (200 g)
- 2 units of Egg
- 1/2 cup of Milk 4 fl oz (120 mL)
- 1 tbsp of Sugar 0.5 oz (15 g )
- 1 tsp of Vanilla Extract 0.16 fl oz (5 mL)
- 1 tbsp of Butter 0.7 oz (20 g)
FOR DUSTING
- 1/2 cup of Sugar 3.2 oz (90 g)
- 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
Instructions
- Take a slice of sandwich bread and spread a generous layer of dulce de leche on it
- Close with another slice and cut in half
- Repeat the process with the remaining slices and set aside
- In a bowl with the eggs, add the milk, sugar, and vanilla extract, then mix
- Quickly dip the slices of sandwich bread into the mixture, touching a bit on each side
- Take a non-stick skillet and add a small amount of butter, set over medium-low heat
- Place the French toasts and let them brown on one side
- Then flip and brown on the other side
- Mix sugar with ground cinnamon and dust the French toasts
