Ingredients
 

  • 4 tbsp Olive oil 20.47 fl oz (52 mL)
  • 10.58 oz of Curd cheese chopped (300 g)
  • 1 unit of Sliced Onion
  • 1 unit of Grated Carrot
  • 1 and 1/12 cups Manioc flour 6.35 oz (180 g)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Chopped Chives to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet, put 1 tablespoon of olive oil and half of the curd cheese
  • Leave on medium heat without stirring too much, until it browns on one side
  • Then flip and let it golden brown on the other side
  • Set aside
  • Put another tablespoon of olive oil and repeat the process with the remaining cheese, and set aside
  • Put 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 sliced onion, let it brown, stirring occasionally
  • Then add the grated carrot, keep for only 1 minute and you can already add the manioc flour
  • Now let it toast and also absorb all the moisture from the farofa
  • When it’s golden brown, turn off the heat and season with salt and black pepper
  • Add the reserved curd cheese and chopped chives
  • Stir well and serve it

Notes

Tips:
Valid to: Best texture when it’s consumed immediately, but it can be stored in a tightly closed container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
